Fabregas will stay with Gunners

Cesc Fabregas has committed himself to Arsenal after speculation gathered about a possible exit from the Emirates.
The Arsenal midfielder is constantly linked with a switch back to his former club, Barcelona, but the player has reiterated his desire to stay with the Gunners.
Speaking on Arsenal TV Online, Fabregas, who is contracted to the Emirates until 2014, said: “Of course I see my future at Arsenal, I have a very long contract with the club.
“I would never have signed that if I did not think I was capable of making it.”
The speculation comes on the back of a tough year for Fabregas, who spent nearly four months out through injury.
Nearing the end of his lay-off, the Spanish international was also involved in a spitting allegation after a match against Hull City. He was later cleared of all charges by the FA.
The transfer rumours follow another season without silverware, making it four years since Arsenal’s last success in a major competition. Fabregas was quick to ease fans worries, although his search for trophies might be more fruitful in Catalonia.
“I hope I can be at Arsenal for many years and lift trophies like the Champions League, the Premier League, FA Cups.”
Reports are also suggesting a possible exit for former skipper William Gallas, and there are lingering doubts over the Arsenal future of Emmanuele Adebayor. Thomas Vermaelen is still waiting to be confirmed as the Gunners first big summer signing.
